戦後日本のインダストリアルデザインを牽引したデザイナー、剣持勇によって1961年にデザインされたラウンジチェア「S-5007」。
成形合板の可能性を追求していた天童木工との協働により生まれた、日本モダンデザインを象徴する一脚です。
もともとは公共施設やラウンジ空間のために設計され、身体を包み込むような大きく滑らかなカーブが特徴。
背もたれからアームへと連続するフォルムは、視覚的な美しさと機能性を兼ね備えています。
しなやかな成形合板の特性により、適度な“しなり”が生まれ、腰回りをしっかり支えながらもリラックスした座り心地を実現。
アームとしても機能する広がりのある背は、体を自然に預けることができます。
本個体は落ち着いたパープルの張地仕様。
空間に静かな個性を添える、上品で柔らかな色合いです。
リビング、ラウンジ空間はもちろん、店舗什器としても存在感のある一脚。
